Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the nx-us.net website, documentation, dashboard, and QuickBooks Desktop API services. By accessing or using nx-us.net, you agree to be bound by these terms on behalf of yourself or the business entity you represent.

1. Service Scope

Nx-us.net provides a hosted middleware platform designed to translate modern REST API requests into QuickBooks Desktop-compatible operations. The public website, interactive API reference, and QuickBooks Web Connector (QWC) setup flows are operational components of this service.

Production access is provided as a paid subscription tied to the company file connection model, as detailed on our Pricing page.

2. Testing and Development Environments

Development and testing use is strictly limited to sample company environments. You must not connect nXus to live, production QuickBooks data while utilizing a testing environment. To analyze performance, troubleshoot connections, and ensure compliance with our Acceptable Use policies, nXus caches certain data transmitted through testing connections. By using a testing environment, you acknowledge and consent to this data caching and agree to strictly use dummy or sample financial data to protect sensitive information.

Any violation of this requirement—specifically, connecting a live production company file to a testing or development environment—will result in the immediate, automated deactivation and suspension of your connection as soon as the system detects the violation.

3. Account and API Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials, API keys, and any QuickBooks connection access granted to your operators or third parties. Nx-us.net will shall not be liable for any damages or losses that may occur due to Customer’s or its End Users’ failure to maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials. End Users are not permitted to share or use the same login credentials to the Services. You must provide accurate billing and account information and promptly notify nx-us.net of any unauthorized access or suspected security breaches.

You agree not to use nx-us.net to:

• Violate any local, state, or federal laws.
• Abuse, overload, or disrupt QuickBooks Desktop environments or nx-us.net infrastructure.
• Interfere with other tenants’ use of the service.
• Transmit malicious code, viruses, or illegal content.

Nx-us.net reserves the right to suspend, rate-limit, or terminate access immediately and without notice for fraud, security abuses, unpaid subscription balances, or violations of these terms.

4. Billing and Renewals

Paid subscriptions automatically renew according to the billing cadence selected at checkout. All charges, billing intervals, and company-file connection limits are presented transparently on the Pricing page and during the checkout experience.

Billing management, invoice history, payment method updates, and subscription cancellations are self-managed through the customer billing portal, accessible via your authenticated nx-us.net dashboard.

5. Service Availability and Support

Nx-us.net strives to maintain high service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Service performance may be impacted by scheduled maintenance, Intuit QuickBooks Desktop anomalies, local network or hardware issues within your environment, or upstream infrastructure failures.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Nx-us.net service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. Nx-us.net, its creators, and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, but is not limited to, lost profits, lost revenues, data corruption, or business interruption arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

7. Modifications to Terms

Nx-us.net reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the dashboard or via email. Your continued use of the Nx-us.net platform after an updated version is posted constitutes your full acceptance of the revised terms.
